On 27 July 2019 in Ivangorod (Russia) the multiphase Eco Marathon running within the ER25NarvaWanMan project has come to its end. The overall aim of this event was raising awareness and partnership for sustainable use of Narva river water resources. The involvement of the wide public, the secondary school students, youths into the creative works was desirable.
The Eco Marathon has started on 2 July in Ivangorod by EcoArt event. Then on 13 July the Narva city (Estonia) has taken up the baton by introducing the project activities and carrying out interactive games and quizzes to educate Narva citizens about sustainable water use. Finally, on 27 July the completive activities were carried out in Ivangorod promenade and fortress together with “City Day 2019” event.
Interestingly, some participants from Narva EcoEvent two weeks later crossed the border to participate in project activities organized for Ivangorod citizens!
The final activities in Ivangorod on 27 July included:
Diplomas and promotional gifts were presented to active participants at the end of the event activities.

UPDATE The three parts of Eco Marathon gathered together more than 160 participants from the both sides of river Narva - Ivangorod and Narva.
The most active team of the whole Eco Marathon - "Hunters of the Moment" was awarded a trip to Saint Petersburg on 28-29 September, 2019. For more info please visit the project Open Platform http://www.narvariver.pro/.
