On 12 March 2020, due to pandemic of Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19), Estonian Government declared a national emergency situation and few days later has enforced a lockdown as a measure of social distancing.
From 16 March 2020 Estonian project partners has started to work from home offices, and from 30 March 2020 the Russian colleagues started to do the same. The upcoming "The Baltic Sea Day 2020" in Saint Petersburg, where presentation of NarvaWatMan project was planned, has been postponed to 16-18 September 2020. The upcoming project Steering Committee meeting was canceled. All other project activities, which do not require travel, are being implemented according to project initial plan.
