The field measurements of Narva River discharge resume after COVID-19 outbreak
On 10 - 11th of June 2020 the first Narva River discharge measurements were carried out after the COVID-19 outbreak. The measurements were taken by Estonian and Russian specialists from Estonian and Russian shores. Estonian specialists were using for the first time the latest remote control surveying boat (rQPOD) equipped with acoustic doppler profiler (RiverSurveyor-M9). Profiling was done on 2 cross-sections of Narva river (up and down the Friendship bridge) and in Narva HPS derivation channel. To ensure proper data collection, profiling was done multiple times.
The second series of discharge measurements from both Narva River banks were made on 25-26th of June 2020.
