On 11. February 2020 NarvaWatMan project representatives from Tallinn University of Technology visited Narva Language Lyceum with newly developed study materials regarding Narva River catchment water resources and virtual water content in different agricultural and industrial products. NarvaWatMan project and its relevance for Narva citizens was also introduced.
The lecture was held for 7. class students, who actively participated in group works and quiz on Kahoot! platform. At the end of the lecture students have come with many interesting suggestions and ideas how to sustainably use water resources in their everyday life, for example, take a shower instead of a bath, buy water-saving washing machine, increase vegetable consumption, reduce food wastes, etc.
